For many gamers, the mention of Runescape conjures an image low
graphics, tedious skill leveling, and a young community (IE: immature
players). However, for those of us who have remained loyal to Runescape
over the years, the game represents much more: a community which
influences new features through content polls and feedback. Seasonal
events which are humorous and novel, reliable, quality updates to both
the mechanics of the game and the world in which we play.
Runescape
is one of the few games on the market which has gone through a complete
overhaul, essentially creating a sequel with which players could
transfer current characters without starting over. The transition of
moving everyone from Runescape (now referred to as Runescape Classic) to
this new version of the game allowed for many improvements; graphic
upgrades, changes to interface, and the elimination of certain in-game
requirements (such as sleeping). The original version of Runescape is
still accessible, for any players seeking a nostalgic escape.
Rumble Fighter (RF) is a multiplayer online fighting game available
for the PC. It has been around since 2007 and many elements of the game
have changed since then. What hasn't changed much is the deep-seated
game play mechanic that hardcore fighting game fans can appreciate.
While RF is portrayed as a casual fighting game that every gamer and
their mother should be able to get the hang of, you can dig deeper into
the gameplay and find out there's more to it than meets the eye.
Select your character
When you first start RF and choose what character class you want to
play, the strategic challenge of battles will have already begun. The
four starting classes: Strikers, Soul Fighters, Elementalists and
Alchemists, each of which can be played as either male or female, have
different stats that appeal to different play styles. For example: Soul
Fighters are extremely fast, so they're great for players that enjoy
rush-down tactics. Alchemists are very slow, but have high defense,
which makes them perfect for defensive players or players that turtle a
lot. The Elementalists have poor strength and defense, but can make use
of exo-cores (more on this later) that have many ranged attacks. Lastly,
the Strikers have high strength with well-rounded stats, so they are
typical and good for beginners looking for balance in their fighting
styles.
Select your fighting style
No matter what kind of martial art you're in to, RF has you covered.
With over 40 different fighting styles (called "sacred scrolls",) RF
gives players the chance to become the legendary fighter they've always
dreamed of. The surprising thing about each sacred scroll in RF is how
incredibly close they represent each fighting style in real life. Each
style is animated fluidly and realistically while properties of their
attacks reflect their real world counterparts. RF also has several
fictional fighting styles that are homage to characters of popular
fighting game series, like Koroshu style from Terry Bogard in Fatal
Fury, Bushin nin-jutsu style from Guy in Street Fighter Alpha, and Agent
style from Crimson Viper in Street Fighter IV.
In a distant future, a plan gone wrong! During an experiment, a large amount of radioactive shells were spread through time, all around the ages. In order to save mankind from a massive radioactivity empoisonment, a Robot is sent to clean all this deadly substance, and bring back the shells.
This robot is called Mister Cleaner, and you have to control it.
Mister Cleaner features 49 original Sokoban puzzles, split it 7 levels of 7 different eras that the player will travel, including the Stone Age, the Ancient Egypt, the Middle Ages or the Distant Future.
The graphics of the game are up to the modern standards, including complex shaders and a rich lighting scheme with realtime shadows and a volumetric atmosphere rendering. Mr. Cleaner is powered by a full-featured technology to render the most beautiful experience to date in this category of puzzle games.
The audio was finely tailored as well, with 20 music tracks from various audio artists in a very large range of styles.
The core gameplay of Mr.Cleaner is based on a transport puzzle, also known as Sokoban, in which the player will push boxes around a closed area. In order to enhance the challenge and the game experience, some complimentary rules were added, such as bombs, portals and elevators.
